Preparing files for Silhouette

Design the same way as for Cricut: process Cricut / Silhouette or Vinyl cutting, a blade-friendly material and details of at least 1.5 mm.

In Silhouette Studio

1. Open cut_files/sheet-01.svg with File → Open or drag it into the window.
2. Check the size against the part list in the instructions. Select all and compare the width with the sheet size in the instructions.
3. In the Send panel, set the action per line colour or layer: Cut for red and orange lines, Score or a light cut for blue score lines, Sketch for black engrave lines when you use a pen.
4. Pick the material preset for your real material and run a test cut.
