Process

From idea to validated cutting files in four steps

Free to design and preview. The geometry you see in the editor is the geometry in your download — same engine, same revision, same validation.

1. Create — describe it or pick a template

Type what you want to make (“wooden organizer with 4 compartments, 250 mm wide”) or open a template. Gemini maps your words to one of the supported product families and extracts the parameters you stated — in millimetres, with a deterministic cross-check of every number you typed.

If something is outside what we can build (a sculpture, a chair, a one-photo 3D object), you get a plain answer and the nearest supported alternative — never fake geometry. Missing measurements become questions, not guesses.

2. Customize — real geometry, instantly

The editor edits a canonical design specification: outside dimensions, material and measured thickness, kerf, finger width, lid style, compartments, text and font. Every change re-runs the parametric generator and shows the resulting cutting layout, a 3D assembly derived from the same parts, the bill of parts, metrics and validation notes.

  • Undo/redo across parameter changes; reset to the opened version; version history when signed in.
  • mm or inch display, canonical millimetres underneath.
  • Layer panel for cut, inner cut, engrave and score; structural layers are always exported.
  • Natural-language edits are proposed as reviewable, bounded actions you accept or discard.

3. Validate — before any money changes hands

Errors, warnings and notes come from a formal validator: parameter ranges, closed contours, self-intersections, holes inside parts, minimum feature erosion, thickness/slot relations, sheet fit and overlap. Errors block export. When you click Generate files, the exact revision is frozen and the complete package is built in a dry run — including re-importing the generated DXF and SVG with an independent parser.

4. Pay once — download, keep, revise

Prices are shown before sign-in. Pay with Stripe Checkout; the export job starts only after the verified payment webhook arrives, and the ZIP is served through short-lived signed links tied to your order. Re-download the same version any time. Editing a purchased design creates a new revision with its own quote.

What is in the ZIP

FilePurpose
cut_files/sheet-NN.svgLayered SVG, mm units, Inkscape-style layers named by operation
cut_files/sheet-NN.dxfDXF R2000, $INSUNITS = mm, same layer names
cut_files/cut-sheets-1to1.pdfTrue-scale pages with a 100 mm check ruler; tiled A4/Letter version included
instructions/project-instructions.pdfOverview, numbered parts with measurements, cutting preparation, machine-specific steps and safety notes for this exact revision
instructions/cutting-checklist.pdfOne-page checklist to tick off before and during the job
instructions/assembly-guide.pdfNumbered components, exploded diagram and step-by-step assembly (designs with assembly data only)
reports/geometry_validation.jsonEvery check run, scope GEOMETRY_VALIDATED
manifest.json, README.md, LICENSE.txt, licenses/Hashes, versions, kerf/material assumptions, usage notes, your license and font licenses

Try it with your own measurements

No account needed. Open a real parametric design, change the dimensions and watch every joint follow — then pay only if you want the files.
