Create SVG cutting designs online, in real millimetres
The studio is a browser editor built for making, not for illustration: every object has a real size in millimetres, every layer means an operation, and the SVG you download is checked by re-importing it.
What you can draw
- Rectangles, circles, ellipses, polygons, lines, polylines and Bézier paths with a node editor.
- Text in three embedded fonts, converted to exact outlines (cap height in mm).
- Holes and slots, grid or circular patterns, boolean union / difference / intersection, offsets.
- Parametric components — finger-joint boxes, organizers, layered signs, coasters — next to your own shapes.
What the SVG contains
Width and height in millimetres with a matching viewBox, one group per operation (CUT_OUTER, CUT_INNER, SCORE, ENGRAVE_VECTOR) named so your software can assign tools, and plain paths — no scripts, no embedded images, no fonts to install.
How it is checked
Before download the engine validates closed outlines, self-intersections, minimum detail for your process and material, duplicate cut lines, tiny loose pieces and sheet fit, then re-imports its own SVG and DXF to confirm the geometry round-trips within 0.05 mm.
What we do not promise
- Validation covers geometry (closed outlines, minimum detail, duplicate cut lines, fit on the sheet or page), not your machine: power, speed and blade settings stay with you — cut a test piece first.
- A photo has no scale: traced artwork gets the width you type; dimensionally exact digitization needs the calibration-sheet flow.
- CNC toolpaths and 3D printing are not generated; the 2D profile can be exported for your own CAM software.
Frequently asked
Is it free?
Designing, previewing and checking are free without an account. You pay once per export package and can re-download that version any time.
Will my cutter keep the size?
Yes, if you import the SVG without rescaling. The file states its physical size in millimetres; verify one dimension against the part list in the package.
Can I edit the SVG later in Inkscape?
Yes. Paths are plain outlines grouped by operation. The design also stays editable in the studio, with its full revision history.
