Preview your first production file

Everything you see in the preview is the real output: the same geometry the files are built from, not an illustration.

Open the wizard

Click Generate files in the top bar of the studio. The wizard has seven steps you can click in any order:

1. Process — how you will make it. Each card lists the files you will receive.
2. Material — the sheet and its thickness, including a measured value from calipers.
3. Machine — bed or paper size, layout mode, kerf compensation and mirroring where relevant.
4. Layers — which operations your design uses and how the process handles each.
5. Check — the manufacturing check, with fixes.
6. Preview — every sheet exactly as it will be in the files: red is cut, orange inner cut, blue score, black engrave.
7. Files — the package contents, the price and the purchase button.

Read the preview

• Count the parts and compare them with what you expect.
• Check that nothing you want to keep is on a cut layer by mistake.
• Look at the sheet size: it is either your canvas or your machine bed, depending on the layout mode.

If the Files step says issues must be fixed, the price is withheld and the purchase button stays disabled until the check passes.
