The formats

  • SVG — the universal vector format. Opened by LightBurn, xTool Creative Space, Glowforge, Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio (Designer Edition), Inkscape and Illustrator. Width and height are in millimetres; each operation is a named group.
  • DXF — the CAD format. Opened by laser software and CAD/CAM programs. Units are millimetres; each operation is a layer.
  • PDF (1:1) — exact-size pages for printing templates, checking scale and some laser drivers. Includes a 100 mm check ruler.
  • PDF (tiled) — the same geometry split over A4 or Letter pages for home printers.

The rest of the package

instructions/ holds the project instructions, cutting checklist and, for assembled projects, the assembly guide. reports/ holds the validation report. README.md lists every file; manifest.json records checksums; LICENSE.txt and licenses/ hold the license texts.

Technical details

SVG: width/height in mm with a matching viewBox, plain paths, no scripts or embedded images. DXF: AutoCAD 2000 (AC1015) ASCII, $INSUNITS = 4, closed LWPOLYLINEs with bulges for arcs and CIRCLE entities. Every file is re-imported by an independent parser and compared with the design (within 0.05 mm) before your package is released.
