An organizer is an open box with slot-in dividers. The dividers rest on the base and slide into slots in the front and back walls.
What you will learn
- Changing compartments and seeing dividers regenerate.
- Understanding divider slot clearance.
- Checking compartment widths before cutting.
After the tutorial
Assemble the walls and base like a box, then drop the dividers into their slots from above. Glue the dividers only after checking that your items fit.
Steps
The same steps appear in the studio, where each one is checked against your design.
- 1
Select the organizer
Click the organizer on the canvas to see its dimensions and options.
- 2
Choose the compartments
Change Compartments. Dividers are evenly spaced across the width; the assumptions show each compartment's inside width.
- 3
Check the slot fit
Divider slot clearance adds a small gap so dividers slide in. Leave it at the default for your first cut; adjust after a test.
- 4
Run the check
Open Check & output. Too many compartments for the width are flagged as too narrow.
- 5
Preview the parts
Click Generate files and open Preview. You should see the base, four walls and one divider fewer than compartments.
Final result
Compiled by the same engine as the studio: 10 parts on 2 sheets. Red is cut, black is engraved.
