Parametric components have limits so the joints, slots and lids they generate can actually be made.
| Message | Fix |
|---|---|
| Dimension out of range | Bring the value inside the range shown next to the field |
| Compartments too narrow | Fewer compartments, or a wider organizer |
| Divider slots shallow | A taller organizer gives the dividers more grip |
| Box too small for a lid lip | Enlarge the box, or choose an open top |
| Holder finger notch could not be cut | Make the holder taller or the coasters larger |
| Component was not scaled | Components resize through their dimensions, not by stretching; use the width, depth and height fields |
| Box decoration left out | The front text is too long for the box, or the font cannot draw a character: shorten the text, pick another font or widen the box |
| Some parts could not be converted | Convert to editable outlines kept those parts as a component; check the message for which ones |
When the limits get in the way
Use Convert to editable outlines to turn the component into ordinary paths you can edit freely. Do this last: converted parts no longer regenerate when the thickness or dimensions change.
