Undo, redo and project versions

Step back through recent edits, save named checkpoints and restore any earlier revision of a design without losing what you have now.

Undo and redo

Use the Undo and Redo arrows in the top bar, or Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z (Ctrl+Y). On a Mac use Cmd. Undo covers recent edits in this session.

Revisions

The studio saves automatically while you work. Each saved state becomes an immutable revision with a number. Nothing is ever overwritten: going back creates a new revision equal to the old one.

Named checkpoints

Click Save checkpoint (the disk icon) to save immediately with a name such as "Before resizing". Checkpoints are easy to find later.

Restore an earlier version

Click Revision history (the clock icon). The list shows every revision with its date, validation result and name. Choose Revert on the one you want: it is copied as the newest revision, so the studio opens it the next time you go back to the design. You can also compare two revisions with the A / B buttons.
