An open-top desk or drawer organizer with evenly spaced slot-in dividers and finger-jointed corners.

What it does
- 1 to 12 compartments recomputed as you change the width
- Dividers drop into slots from the top; no extra hardware
- Compartment sizes, divider positions and slot widths derived from measured thickness
- Optional engraved label on the front

- Dividers run in one direction (across the width)
- Minimum compartment width 20 mm
- Laser cutting only in this release

Materials
Plywood 3 mm
Thickness options: 3, 4, 5, 6 mm · min feature 1.5 mm
Real plywood varies ±0.3 mm; measure your sheet with calipers for tight joints.
MDF 3 mm
Thickness options: 3, 4, 6 mm · min feature 1.5 mm
MDF chars at edges; kerf is often slightly wider than plywood.
Acrylic 3 mm
Thickness options: 2, 3, 4, 5 mm · min feature 1 mm
Cast acrylic engraves frosty white; extruded acrylic does not. Finger joints in acrylic are brittle: use glue.
Veg-tan leather 2 mm
Thickness options: 1.5, 2, 3 mm · min feature 2 mm
Only vegetable-tanned leather is laser-safe; chrome-tanned leather releases toxic fumes.
General starting points; your measured thickness and kerf always override presets. We do not assert compatibility with specific machine brands.

Questions
How do the dividers attach?
Dividers drop into slots cut from the top edge of the front and back walls. The slot width is your material thickness plus a small clearance; the lower part of each divider rests on the base and against the walls.
How many compartments can I have?
1 to 12 across the width, as long as each compartment stays at least 20 mm wide. The editor tells you the maximum for your width and thickness.
Can dividers run both ways?
Not in this release: dividers run in one direction, across the width.
