Understanding commercial licenses

What you may do with the files you buy — including selling the physical items you make — and what you may not do.

Updated 2026-10-24 1 min read

You may

  • Make and sell physical items from your files, in any quantity.
  • Edit the files for your own production.
  • Keep copies and re-download your purchase.

You may not

  • Sell, share or redistribute the digital files, edited or not.
  • Use the DIYCutLab name to suggest we endorse your products.

Fonts and uploads

Text in your files uses open-licensed fonts that allow commercial use; their licenses are in the licenses/ folder of your download. Files and images you upload stay yours, are stored privately, and are never shared with other users.

Your own artwork is your responsibility: only upload and sell designs you have the right to use.

The full text is on the file licenses page and in LICENSE.txt in every package.
