Every Halloween project opens in the editor as a normal design: the text, the ghosts, the pumpkins and the sizes all stay editable, and the same checks run before any files are made.

Start

  1. Open Halloween Studio and describe your idea, add inspiration photos with optional notes, or choose Customize This on a project.
  2. Answer only the questions shown, such as the name for a sign. Everything else has a sensible default.
  3. Change anything in the editor, then open Generate files to see the files, the price and any warnings before you pay.

My Boo Crew Sign

  • Make with: a laser cutter or CNC router.
  • Materials: 3 mm plywood or MDF, sandpaper, two screws or a ribbon for hanging.
  • Steps: cut the plate on the Cut layer and engrave the name and motifs on the Engrave layer. Engrave first, then cut, so the plate does not move. Sand the edges and hang it from the two holes.

Halloween Wreath Sign

  • Make with: a laser cutter or CNC router. Up to 38 cm across, so it fits a 600 × 400 mm bed.
  • Materials: 3 mm plywood or MDF, acrylic paint if you want colour, wood glue for the separate pieces.
  • Steps: engrave the ring, banner, plaque, ghost and decorations, then cut the round plate. With separate pieces, cut the banner, plaque and ghost too, paint them, and glue them onto their outlines.
  • What a cutting file can't include: ribbons, fabric, leaves, printed colours and 3D objects such as a real broom. Paint or decorate the finished sign instead.

Halloween Coaster Set

  • Make with: a laser cutter.
  • Materials: 3 mm plywood or MDF, a water-resistant finish.
  • Steps: engrave the motifs, names and borders, then cut the outlines. Seal the coasters before use; unsealed wood marks easily.

Trick-or-Treat Box

  • Make with: a laser cutter.
  • Materials: plywood or MDF of the thickness you set, wood glue.
  • Steps: measure your sheet and set its thickness so the finger joints fit. Dry-fit the walls, glue them, then glue the cut-out pumpkin, ghost, bat or cat to the front. The Assembly guide in your files shows the order.

Spooky Window Decorations

  • Make with: a Cricut, Silhouette or other vinyl cutter.
  • Materials: removable adhesive vinyl and transfer tape.
  • Steps: import the SVG, cut, weed the faces and the background, apply transfer tape and press onto clean glass. Removable vinyl peels off after Halloween.
  • Make with: a home printer and scissors. No cutting machine needed.
  • Materials: Letter or A4 paper or cardstock.
  • Steps: print the 1:1 PDF at 100 % (“Actual size”) and check the ruler, then cut along the outer lines. The free sample on the Halloween page is this project.

Safety and machine settings

We do not publish laser power, speed or blade settings: they depend on your machine and material. Run a test cut on scrap, never leave a laser cutter unattended, and ventilate the room. Adults should handle blades and lasers when children help.
