Resizing and rotating elements

With the handles

Select an object. Drag a square corner handle to resize, a side handle to stretch in one direction, and the round handle above the selection to rotate. The size is shown under the selection while you drag.

With exact numbers

In Properties → Position & size:

• X (centre) and Y (centre) — where the middle of the object sits, measured from the top-left corner of the canvas.
• Width and Height, or Diameter for circles.
• Rotation in degrees.

Type a value and press Enter. Values are shown in your display unit (millimetres or inches) but stored in millimetres.

Nudge and mirror

• Arrow keys move the selection by 1 mm; hold Shift for 10 mm.
• With objects selected, Arrange → Mirror H or Mirror V flips them.
